Even though I've seen these birds in a number of places, I have little to show for it in my files, so I was happy to grab a few images here. The iridescence in their feathers has always captivated me. I would normally prefer a lower shooting angle, but one of the disadvantages at Wako is that you have to shoot from the somewhat elevated boardwalk, and can't get down to 'birds-eye' level.
